In the UK, all employers have a legal duty under the Health and Safety Information for Employees Regulations (HSIER).

Whilst you will see copies of posters in workplaces all over the country, a lot of businesses do not realise that a new, simpler version, of the poster was published in 2009.

It is estimated that fewer than 300,000 organisations have an ISO 14001 certified Environment Management System (EMS) in the UK.

This means that there are more than 4,400,000 businesses that do not have an EMS!
